Shapes in PREMIER+™2 Create's Quick Create

If you're looking to design something fun, quick and easy, yet adaptable and pliable to change, check out the Shape shapes option in PREMIER+™2 Create's Quick Create tab or mode (Mac).

Select from 75 pre-designed shapes.

Mix and match design options, including:

Select from multiple Pattern or Specialty Fills.
Choose whether or not to border with multiple types of Line options.
Design streamlined Appliqué with simple, clean lines, and enabled for use on your digital fabric cutter!

From Heart to Art, it's easy to start with a basic shape, and adjust using the Create editing tools to reshape or redesign to your heart's delight!

Shape 32 altered by adjusting points/nodes, adding a Hole, and changing the Line options for the border to Motif Line , and stitch Universal, General Motif 1, Stitch 6.

With all these options you can create many new and unique embroideries, including Appliqué, cutwork needle, lace, and so much more!

INSPIRATION

Designing with Shapes

Let's explore just a few beguiling designs that all begin with a Shape!

Shown below, Shape 1, a simple square of Pattern Fill plus Satin Line border. Duplicate, then transform using Edit Points , and other editing tools, into an hourglass showing the sifting sands of time.

Lace, lace, lace! Shown below, Shape 6, with freestanding lace using CrossHatch Fill set to Double with ZigZag for strength and support, Satin Line border.

The lace design has also been altered to make a motif embellished lace by making a duplicate copy, and changing Satin Line to No Border on the duplicate. It's easy to add a layer when you Copy the duplicated element, and Paste to place it over the duplicate to create aligned layers.

Then, change the new element to Motif Fill with Satin Line border, using Universal, Geometric 2, Stitch 20, size Height 20.0mm Width 25.7mm.

And, shown below, one more for your collection: Shape 34 as an Appliqué Flower designed for Pre-Cut Fabrics.

Use the Design Player to view the structure of your appliqué design.

Don't forget, you can save files for your digital cutter from File / Export Appliqué Pieces.

Did you know...

... that the PREMIER+™2 Create module has Bezier tools Bezier for designing with great precision and symmetry! Bezier mode's tools create fluid, even curves or precisely controlled points, and shaping can be finely tuned using the Bezier handles.
