In PREMIER+™ Ultra Modify, the Modify tab has tools for adjusting designs that you'd like to make more your own. Many types of embroidery have longer satin stitches that can catch and snag during use. Break Up Stitches Break Up Stitches helps you convert those longer stitches by selecting a new stitch length, and creating textural interest as well.

Select Tools It's easy to load your design with Insert Insert from the Quick Access toolbar, and then select the portion you want to adjust with the Select tools in the Home tab in the ribbon bar. Modify lets you select all or part of an embroidery for advanced editing!

Select Break Up Stitches Break Up Stitches in the Modify tab of the ribbon bar, and select the desired stitch length.

PREMIER+™ Ultra Modify has other unique tools for shaping and adjusting designs. Select boxes have "handles" for Flipping horizontally or vertically, rotating, and skewing! The Skew tools can be a fun way to add perspective and interest to a design.

In the Home tab, use the Select tools to select only the elements you want to adjust. You can also isolate areas of the design with the Control Strip tools in Modify!

When you have selected the desired stitches, you'll see all the handles on the select box.

Controls Flip Horizontal Flip Horizontal Handle or Flip Vertical Flip Vertical Handle mirror the design, and Rotate Rotate Handle lets you free-rotate the selected stitches to any angle! Skew Horizontally Skew Horizontally Handle and Skew Vertically Skew Vertically Handle are unique tools, and the Skew handles let you adjust horizontally or vertically to stretch and shape the stitches as they stretch diagonally in the selected direction.

When you Paste Paste design elements and Flip Horizontally Flip Horizontal Handle in the Modify window, they may develop lengthy jump stitches as the stitching moves back and forth between the ColorSorted areas.

Reverse Order Reverse Order from the Home tab will reverse the stitch direction of the selected area, adjusting the jump stitch distance when moving from one design repeat to the next, for tidier stitches.

Paste As Design When you select and Copy Copy stitches, try out Paste as Design Paste As Design in the Home tab to bring in the second element as a separate layer so it is easier to select and place during the initial design process. The new element will lay over the original stitches, but the original stitches are in a separate layer and appear ghosted. If you choose Select All Visible Select All Visible in the Home tab, you can select and move the new stitch element as desired.

Once you have Flipped Horizontally Flip Horizontal Handle , you can select Reverse Order Reverse Order in the Home tab to reverse the stitch direction from beginning to end, so the pasted stitches will begin stitching closer to the end of the original design element.

Design Select Field You can select layers of designs in the Home tab's Design Select window, and can also select Combine with Previous Combine With Previous to merge the second design into the first if desired.
The Export function Export will also offer the option to combine the two embroideries.

Have fun as you learn these useful tools in PREMIER+™ Ultra Modify, part of the PREMIER+™ Ultra software package!
